Col. Oro graduated from the prestigious Philippine Military Academy in 1995, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management.

He later obtained his Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Saint Louis University in 2009. His educational achievements and extensive military training, have equipped him with the skills and knowledge to excel in his current role as the PDRRMO chief.

He was born in Cagayan De Oro City on February 3, 1973. He is happily married to Corazon L. Oro and they are blessed with three children.
