SOLAR LIGHTS IN A FAR-FLUNG BARANGAY IN PANGASINAN. The Provincial Government of Pangasinan under the watch of Governor Amado ‘Pogi’ I. Espino III launched Project Liwawa in Barangay Lawak Langka in Mangatarem on February 24. The project aims to provide light on each of the Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA) using renewable energy and to further enhance security in the province while maintaining the insurgency-free status of Pangasinan.
