The rolling store of the Pamanang Yaman Produktong Pangasinan (PYPP) of the provincial government led by Governor Amado I. Espino III visited the town of San Fabian on January 12.
It can be noted that the PYPP was launched on 2020 under the Abig Pangasinan Program, the brainchild socio-economic recovery program of Gov. Espino, which aims to assist micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program also aims to promote the locally-made products across the province by introducing and showcasing the different locally-made products through the rolling store.
Pangasinan-made products such as bagoong, patis, alamang, chips, puto, longganisa, dried seafood, processed foods, woven products and other locally-made products are showcased in the rolling store.
Products sold in the rolling store of the PYPP were bought by the provincial government from the MSMEs and are sold to Pangasinenses at cost selling or wholesale price.
The Pangasinenses thanked the provincial government led by Gov. Espino for bringing the said program in their town.
“Maganda kasi natatangkilik natin ang mga produkto ng Pangasinan. The best si Gob. Espino, tinitingnan niya yong pangangailangan katulad ngayon mayroon tayong pandemic, inilalapit niya yong mga products sa mga tao at yong mga products kapag pumunta ka sa mga supermaket mas makakamura ung mga tao,” said Cristeta Dismaya.
The program is held at the Municipal Plaza of San Fabian until tomorrow January 13, from 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
The rolling store is scheduled to visit the following towns this month: Sta. Maria (January 15-16), Mabini (January 19-20), Mangaldan (January 22-23), Bayambang (January 26-27), and Tayug (January 29-30).
