‘Reaffirm your commitment to the next generation,’ Gov. Espino urges youth leaders

Governor Amado I. Espino III enjoined all Pangasinense youth leaders to help and become partners of the provincial government of Pangasinan in molding the youth for a brighter future.

“Today is not just a celebration; today, we reaffirm our commitment to the next generation and, you are the next generation,” said Governor Espino during the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairpersons’ Day held at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC) Gymnasium on December 15.

Underscoring the multiple issues faced by the young generation today, Governor Espino stressed that as youth leaders, they are now able to initiate activities and programs that are aligned to the vision and mission of the provincial government.

“Malaki ang maibibigay ninyong tulong at impluwensiya sa mga kapwa ninyo kabataan,” Governor Espino said.

The provincial chief executive urged, “Ipagpatuloy niyo sana ang adhikain ninyo na maging mabuting lider, estudyante at Pangasinense.”

The SK Chairpersons’ Day, now on its second year, gathered all SK chairpersons across the province.

SK Provincial Federation President Jerome Vic Espino said that this gathering also aims to build rapport and unity among the youth leaders.

“This is a way of thanking your services to the youth of your barangay,” the SK provincial federation president stated.

The SK provincial federation president also expressed his gratitude to the provincial government of Pangasinan for the constant support to the youth sector.

Also present during the program were: Vice Governor Mark Ronald DG. Lambino, Congressman Jumel Anthony Espino and Board Member Vici Ventanilla.

The vice governor also reiterated the call of Governor Espino for united efforts of the youth leaders to help solve the timely issues of the Pangasinan youth.
