The Provincial Government of Pangasinan staged the Pamanang Yaman, Produktong Pangasinan rolling store in the town of Labrador on April 29-30.
Featuring Tatak Pangasinan products and delicacies, the PYPP is a part of Governor Amado I. Espino’s flagship recovery program dubbed as Abig Pangasinan Program. PYPP aims to help micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) recover from their economic loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The PYPP also serves as an avenue promote Pangasinan-made products across the province through showcasing these products in the rolling store.
Among the products featured at the rolling store are: frozen goods like longganisa, buro and tocino; dried and processed fish products; condiments such as bagoong, alamang ang spiced vinegar; woven bags, brooms and rattan products; snacks like chips, crackers, chicharon and puto; preserved delicacies; and some organic products which are all sold at cost selling or wholesale price.
In an interview with Natividad Mayor Rosita Rafael, the municipal chief executive praised the efforts of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan in staging the aforementioned program in their town.
“Nagpapasalamat kami kay Governor Amado Espino III dahil inilapit niya sa amin ang mga produkto ng Pangasinan sa aming bayan,” said Mayor Rafael.
Locals of Natividad also expressed their appreciation to the Provincial Government for the innovative and beneficial program.
“Napakagandang pribilehiyo ito. Sana lahat ng public servants natin ay katulad ninyong lumalapit sa mahihirap. Sana tuloy-tuloy ang mga ganitong serbisyo ninyo,” said Ms. Sherly Bibat, one of the consumers.
The PYPP program is led by the Provincial Population Cooperative, and Livelihood Development Office (PPCLDO) headed by PPCLDO Chief Ellsworth Gonzales.
