Prov’l Gov’t implements anew six-day flexi work starting Aug. 30

August 28, 2021

In light of the surge of COVID-19 cases in the province, the Provincial Government of Pangasinan will again adopt the six-day-flexi-time schedule starting August 30 until September 15.

In a memorandum issued by the Office of the Governor on August 26, it was noted that provincial government offices will be open for six days (Monday-Saturday) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to give way for clients to complete their respective transactions.

To accommodate clients of the provincial government while strictly observing social distancing, each office shall adopt alternate schedule of employees maintaining at least 50% staff every day in the office.

Assistant department heads and/or supervising administrative officers will be assigned during Saturdays as an alternative for department heads of each office.

The provincial government also devised a schedule of business transactions to avoid heavy influx of clients: Monday to Wednesday – for clients coming from Districts 1, 2 and 3; and Thursday to Saturday – for clients coming from Districts 4, 5, and 6.

Considering risks of the emergency health situation, employees who are senior citizens pregnant women, immune-compromised, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) will be given work-from-home arrangements.

To ensure safety of all clients as well as employees of the provincial government, safety precautions and sanitation will continue to be imposed in all work stations, including: thermal scanning, foot bath, and washing of hands with sanitizer or alcohol.

All clients are also mandated to continue to observe social distancing, wearing of face masks and face shields as well as logging in and out for easier contact tracing, if needed.

The memo also disclosed that all provincial activities are temporarily cancelled until further notice.
