The Provincial Government of Pangasinan thru the Provincial Population, Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office (PPCLDO) brought the rolling store of the Pamanang Yaman, Produktong Pangasinan (PYPP) in the town of Burgos on March 29-30.
A part of Governor Amado I. Espino III’s flagship recovery program called Abig Pangasinan, the Pamanang Yaman, Produktong Pangasinan aims to assist local businessmen, specifically micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) recover and bounce back from economic loss due to COVID-19.
Through the rolling store, the PYPP promotes Tatak Pangasinan products across the province, which includes: frozen goods like longganisa, buro and tocino, dried and processed fish products, condiments such as bagoong, alamang and spiced vinegar, woven products, snacks and many others.
The products featured in the rolling store are sold at cost-selling or wholesale price.
Locals of Burgos thanked the provincial government for holding such program that will not only benefit the town of Burgos but the whole province.
“Maganda iyong naisip nilang proyekto lalo na ngayong pandemic. Nakakatulong sila sa lahat ng bayan kasi kami na budget lang ang kaya namin, talagang pupuntahan namin kung nasaan sila para makatipid. Iyong produkto na hindi nila nadadala sa isang lugar, naihahatid nila sa ibang bayan at nakakatulong pa sa mga kababayan natin na maitawid ung ibang produkto,” said Jenalyn Yap, one of the locals of Burgos.
