Prov’l Gov’t brings PYPP to Agno

April 27, 2021

The Provincial Government of Pangasinan brought the rolling store of the Pamanang Yaman, Produktong Pangasinan (PYPP) to the town of Agno on April 26-27.

An integral component of Governor Amado I. Espino III’s brainchild program dubbed as Abig Pangasinan, PYPP focuses on helping micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) recover from the economic challenges due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Through the PYPP rolling store, locally-made products are bought by the Provincial Government from the MSMEs and are sold at cost selling or wholesale price to Pangasinenses.

The PYPP program also serves as an avenue to promote Tatak Pangasinan products throughout the province, which include: frozen goods such as longganisa, buro and tocino; dried and processed fish products; condiments like bagoong, alamang and vinegar; woven products like buri bag, walis, and rattan; snacks such as chips, crackers, chicharon and puto; preserved food products, and many others.

Santa Maria Mayor Gualberto Sison expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Government of Pangasinan and Governor Espino for re-introducing Tatak Pangasinan products to their town.

“Napakaganda nitong programang ito. Itong programang ito ay ang pinaka-safe sa amin, lalo na dito sa Agno. Maraming salamat  kay Governor Espino dahil talagang pinoprotektahan niya tayong mga taga-Pangasinan,” said Mayor Sison.
