March 23, 2021

The Provincial Government of Pangasinan brought the rolling store of the Pamanang Yaman, Produktong Pangasinan (PYPP) at the Pro-Farmers Arcade Center in the city of Urdaneta on March 21-23.

Earlier, Governor Amado I. Espino III together with First Lady Karina P. Espino led the launching of the Pro-Farmers Arcade Center, a one-stop-shop for local farmers pioneered by Mr. Clemente Arboleda Sr. which aims to bring all the agricultural needs of small-medium scale farmers.

Aside from the rolling store of the PYPP which features Tatak Pangasinan products, the Pro-Farmers Arcade Center will carry agricultural machines such as farm inputs and tools.

Mr. Arboleda commended the provincial government for bringing the PYPP in their city and hoped that the said program will be permanent in the Pro-Farmers Arcade Center to cater the needs not only of Pangasinenses, but also the guests and visitors from outside the province who wants to buy Pangasinan products.

“Ni-request ko po kay Governor na kung pwede sana iyong Produktong Pangasinan ay permanente na dito. Magkaroon po ng market po ng mga produkto ng Pangasinan. Since kami po ay maswerte na kami po ay nasa centro ng sibilisasyon at accessible ang lokasyon namin sa lahat ng points ng Luzon, kung gusto po nilang bumili ng produkto ng Pangasinan ay maari po silang pumunta dito,” said Mr. Arboleda.

The products featured in the rolling store are sold at cost-selling or wholesale price, which includes: frozen goods like longganisa, buro and tocino, dried and processed fish products, condiments such as bagoong, alamang and spiced vinegar, woven products, snacks and many others.

The PYPP program was led by the Provincial Population, Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office (PPCLDO).

A part of Governor Amado I. Espino III’s flagship recovery program called Abig Pangasinan, Pamanang Yaman, Produktong Pangasinan aims to assist local businessmen, specifically micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) recover and bounce back from economic loss due to COVID-19.

Locals of Urdaneta City thanked the provincial government for the said program.

“Maraming salamat po sa provincial government ng Pangasinan sa pagdala ng iba’t-ibang produkto dito sa aming bayan dahil hindi mo na kailangan pang pumunta ng ibang bayan para bumili,” said Grace Cerezo, one of the customers of the PYPP rolling store.
