The Provincial Government of Pangasinan, headed by Governor Amado I. Espino III, brought the Job Fair on Wheels through the Pangasinan Provincial Employment Services Office (PESO) to San Nicolas on August 30.
With the PESO’s goal to provide opportunities to Pangasinenses, the Job Fair on Wheels has accommodated approximately 300 job-hunters in the town of San Nicolas held at the town’s Cultural Civic Center.
Ten local companies participated in the activity such as the 3C Industrial Staffing Solutions, Inc., EEI Corporation, Maxim de Humana International, RDF Option Plus, Rolive Trading, Saint Paschal Baylon Multi-Purpose Coop., Savemore Market, SM City Urdaneta, Staff Search Asia, and Sutherland Global Services.
Among the job vacancies offered by these companies were: building engineer, audit staff and accountants, autocad operators, carpenters, HR officers, plumbers, architects, welders, and company technicians.
There are also two international companies which were hiring accountants, nurses and nursing assistants, food servers, company drivers, cleaners, receptionists, technicians, welders, and carpenters.
The employment program encourages all career-seeking Pangasinenses to apply. The job fair accommodates even Senior High School graduates in their job-hunting.
The Pangasinan PESO also invites Pangasinenses on September 5 for their Jobs Fair to be held at the PESO Office, Capitol Complex, Lingayen.
Other schedules of the Job Fair on Wheels are as follows: September 13 in San Manuel, September 20 in Infanta, and September 27 in Umingan.
