Pangasinan Provincial Government Brings Free Veterinary Services Closer to Communities

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Provincial Government of Pangasinan through the Provincial Veterinary Office, is conducting a month-long “Serbisyong Ang Galing” program to different sites, offering free veterinary services to residents this November 2025.

The veterinary office headed by Dr. Arcely G. Robeniol, disclosed that services cater to both companion animals like dogs and cats and ruminant animals such as cattle, carabaos, goats, and sheeps.

For companion animals, services offered include consultation, anti-rabies vaccination, deworming, vitamin supplementation, castration for male dogs and cats, and spaying for female cats only.

Services for ruminant animals, on the other hand, are as follows: hemosept vaccination, deworming, vitamin supplementation and medication.

In addition, the veterinary office conducts lecture on RA 9482 known as Anti-Rabies Act of 2007 as well as the Provincial Rabies Control Program.

Activities are exclusive to residents of the host town, and services can be availed on a first-come, first served basis until medical supplies last. Pet owners are advised to bring their pets well groomed.

Requirements for castration and spaying services include the following: 1) Pets must fast for at least eight (hours before surgery; 2) Pet owners must bring Manila paper and blade per pet; 3) Maximum of three (3) pets per owner for castration or spaying services.
