The townsfolk of Mangatarem warmly welcomed the second visit of the Pamanang Yaman, Produktong Pangasinan (PYPP) mobile store on June 10 to 11.
“Nai-expose, nakikilala at natitikman natin ang mga masarap na produkto ng Pangasinan,” said Cesar Alombro Jr., a teacher from Mangatarem who visited the PYPP mobile store.
The PYPP mobile store which forms part of the socio-economic recovery program of Governor Amado I. Espino III dubbed, “Abig Pangasinan Karaban” targets to assist micro, small and medium enterprises by marketing their products to various parts of the province.
All products at the PYPP mobile store are sold at the cost-selling price.
“Sa pamamagitan nito, malaking tulong na rin sa mga local producers natin upang lalong mapalago at marami pa ang maengganyo na gumawa ng marming produkto dahil sa tulong ng provincial government na ganito.” he also commended.
Some products offered at the PYPP mobile store are: handwoven products, processed meat, variety of wine and juice concentrate, dried seafood, chips and condiments.
Alombro also stressed that more Pangasineses should support Pangasinan-made products: “Bago ang iba, tangkilin muna natin ‘yung mga produkto natin nang sa gan’on sariling atin ay natutulungan natin.”
The PYPP mobile store in Mangatarem is open from 8AM to 5PM until June 11.
The PYPP recently rolled its second season to help more small entrepreneurs and bring products closer to Pangasinenses.
