LGU-Pangasinan mulls community quarantine and curfew provincewide

Governor Amado I. Espino III presided a meeting with the Provincial Government department heads and chiefs of office today (March 16) at the Capitol Resort Hotel for updates on the monitoring of COVID-19 in Pangasinan.

During the meeting, it was raised that the following matters shall be explored for possible implementation province-wide: checkpoints at entry points to the province, community quarantine, curfew and the provincial government employees to implement a staggered 40-hour work for six days a week.

As of 8 am today (March 16), the province of Pangasinan remains to register NO confirmed cases of COVID-19.

However, there are 16 patients under investigation (PUIs) with 11 patients admitted and 5 discharged from hospitals.

Currently, there are 7,688 persons under monitoring (PUMs) undergoing 14-day home quarantine, while 16 PUMs have completed their quarantine period. (OMV)
