Gov. Espino urges teachers to be advocates of peace, better education & progress in Pangasinan

Governor Amado I. Espino III has urged teachers to be advocates of peace, better education and progress of the province of Pangasinan.

“I ask all of you to be not only second parents to your students but also to be the voice for peace, better education and progress,” disclosed Governor Espino as he graced the culminating activity of the World Teachers’ Day 2019 celebration of the Schools Division Office 1 – Pangasinan on October 4 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC) Grandstand.

Governor Espino also hailed the heroic deeds of the teaching force in the province for molding the youth to be responsible future leaders of the society.

“Nakikiisa po kami sa inyo sa adhikain na turuan, pagandahin ang kabuhayan at pamumuhay ng mga susunod na henerasyon na Pangasinense,” Governor Espino stated as he pledged for the provincial government’s all-out support to educational development agenda.

Likewise, the provincial chief executive called for continuous sacrifices of the teachers to assure better future of Pangasinenses.

Leading thousands of teachers from DepEd – SDO1 in celebrating World Teachers’ Day was OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Sheila Marie Primicias.

World Teachers’ Day, also known as International Teachers’ Day is celebrated every 5th of October in 1994 to commemorate teacher organizations worldwide. The observance also seeks to mobilize support for teachers, and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers.
