Gov. Espino to teachers: “Continue molding the youth”

Governor Amado I. Espino III lauded the teachers for being the second parents in molding the youth of the province.

Serving as the guest of honor and speaker during the Program on Awards & Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) of Schools Division Office 1 Pangasinan on October 3 at the Sison Auditorium, Governor Espino recognized the incomparable sacrifices and efforts of teachers.

“I know you have given so much being the second parents to our beloved students,” Governor Espino said, underscoring the challenges in shaping the future of young Pangasinenses.

The provincial chief executive also stressed the essence of educators who are behind every successful professional.

“Lagi ko pong sinasabi, wala pong tao sa mundong ito na hindi dumaan sa gabay ng pagtuturo ng isang guro… mula presidente ng Pilipinas hanggang sa appointed barangay official,” he noted.

Governor Espino also bared that the development thrusts of the province are always geared at achieving progress for its people in all sectors.

Calling on unified efforts of teachers to continue molding the youth for a better future of the next generation, he further urged “Bantayan po natin ang ating mga kabataan, bantayan po natin ang ating probinsya at ipagpatuloy ang progreso at pagmamahal para sa probinsya ng Pangasinan.”

The PRAISE forms part in the World Teachers’ Day 2019 celebration of the SDO1-Pangasinan, headed by OIC-SDS Sheila Marie Primicias, which aims to recognize outstanding education programs, school heads and other school personnel.
