As father of his community, he was rewarded with a most special distinction when he was chosen in 1986 as the Most Outstanding ABC President of the Philippines.

Since then, he has steadfastly widened his reach to serve as Municipal Councilor and as a member of the Provincial Board.

An astute and enterprising businessman, he has wide interests in local banking and real estate. He is currently president of the Urduja Rural Bank of Tayug and owner of Emman J Builders and Developers.

He is also owner of Urdaneta Village Townhomes, the Dona Olympia Rural Homes and the Villa Charizza Salud- real estate developments which attest to the economic growth of this part of eastern pangasinan.

A deeply spiritual person, he is Supervising Elder of the ICCRM Charismatic group.
