ANGEL G. BANIQUED

Board Member Angel G. Baniqued acts as Majority Floor Leader, chairs the Committee on Rules and Privileges, and sits as member of all the standing committees of the Provincial Board.

Angel, as he is popularly known, is from San Carlos City, where, on October 25, 1951, he was born.

In 1980, he was the only elected city councilor from the opposition party. This was to be repeated when he was re-elected to the same position in 1983.

A law practitioner, Board Member Baniqued finished Law from the San Beda College in Manila and passed the Bar Examinations in 1976, the same year he graduated.

Aside from his law practice, Board Member Baniqued is also an active member of the San Carlos Palaris Jaycees, Rotary Club of San Carlos and Knights of Columbus.

He is married to Marlene Martinez and they have two children.
